  • Clean academic and disciplinary record.

2. Registration Procedure

  • Complete registration with the Division of T&P at the start of the odd semester.
  • Submit academic credentials, resume, and required documents for verification.

  • Professional Grooming Sessions: Resume refinement, personal branding, and mock interviews by industry professionals.
  • Placement Success Classes: Mandatory 75% attendance in preparatory sessions, expert talks, alumni interactions, and weekend workshops.

Recruitment Engagement

1. Invitation to Companies

  • Share detailed institutional profiles and curated student data with organizations.
  • Invite companies to submit Job Descriptions (JDs) outlining eligibility, compensation, profiles, and selection methods.
  • Finalized JDs cannot be modified.

2. Recruitment Workflow

  • Activities may include PPTs, written assessments, group discussions, technical & HR interviews.
  • Recruiters may shortlist participants pre-drive based on resumes and credentials.
  • Attendance at all stages is mandatory; absence without valid reason leads to disqualification from future drives.

One Student – One Offer Policy

  • Once a student secures a job offer, they exit the process unless:
    • The next offer provides ≥1.5× higher CTC, or
    • The opportunity aligns with the student’s specialization (certified by Head of Department), or
    • More than 55% of the batch is already placed.
  • Students with two offers cannot participate in further drives.

Offer Acceptance Protocol

  • Accept or decline offers within the deadline.
  • Rejecting an accepted offer or defaulting withdraws the student permanently.

Early Joining Policy

  • Early joining discouraged; if mandated:
    • Obtain written approval and submit an undertaking.
    • Fulfill academic obligations (assignments, exams).
    • T&P Cell liaises with employers for academic flexibility.

Off-Campus Placement Regulations

  • Off-campus drives facilitated by T&P follow the same policy.
  • T&P does not engage with third-party agencies requiring fees.
  • Independent placements outside T&P accountability.

Code of Conduct for Students

  • Maintain punctuality and professional decorum at placement events.
  • Attend in formal attire with ID card and hardcopy resume.
  • Uphold EIT’s brand and ethical standards; misconduct escalated to Disciplinary Committee.

Communication Hierarchy

  1. Departmental Placement Coordinator – First point of contact.
  2. Training & Placement Coordinator – Escalation/policy clarifications.
  3. Dean – Training & Placement (EIT) – Final authority for unresolved concerns.

Attendance Compliance

  • Mandatory attendance for placement rounds, training classes, guest lectures, and company sessions.
  • Absenteeism policy:
    • 1st instance: Formal warning.
    • 2nd instance: Final warning.
    • 3rd instance: De-registration (re-enrollment subject to fee and approval).
