Technical Club

About Club :

With the motive of providing a common platform for interdisciplinary technical activities in the college, the Technical Club has been launched. The club consists of self-motivated students who gather together to develop some new and innovative ideas and work on them. It aims to technically strengthen the students by integrating their skills in the various fields of Engineering & Technology, to cope with the highly competitive environment.The club conducts many activities to help the students explore and learn some skills that will help them in the future. The club also aims to prepare teams for competitions that are organized by other colleges.

Objective :

To provide a structured platform for students to acquire and deepen their technical knowledge and skills across various domains, including software development, data analytics, and engineering.
To encourage students to engage in innovative thinking and practical problem-solving by applying emerging technologies to real-world challenges.
To facilitate teamwork and knowledge-sharing among students through collaborative projects, workshops, and technical discussions, enhancing both technical and interpersonal skills.
To equip students with the necessary tools, resources, and industry insights that support their career readiness, including resume building, interview preparation, and networking opportunities.

Membership of Clubs :

Membership in all Student Clubs and Societies is open to all the students of EIT, whereas membership in the Technical Society shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the affiliating body.

Formation of Clubs :

Membership in all Student Clubs and Societies is open to all the students of EIT, whereas membership in the Technical Society shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the affiliating body.
a. A group shall attain the status of a Club only after administrative review and recommendation by the Office of the Dean (DSW) and approval by the Higher Authorities.
b. A list of all active Clubs and Technical Chapters shall be published periodically, enabling students to select and join clubs of their choice.
c. All programs and activities of the Clubs shall be conducted under the supervision of faculty coordinators.

Activities of Clubs :

a. Overall Club Coordinators and individual Coordinators with the team shall convene a meeting at the beginning of the Academic Year to finalize the list of activities by the Goals and Objectives (to ensure no conflicts) and shall prepare the financial request to the Higher Authorities through Office of DSW.
b. All the Coordinators of the Clubs shall submit the list of activities.
c. Overall Coordinators shall hold a meeting at least once monthly to review the performance of technical clubs.

Budget for Activities

The budget for the activity must be approved by the higher authority after the recommendation of the Office of DSW with the approval of the event. Proper bills or other proof must be submitted without fail to the accounts section.
