The students of echelon while pursuing their studies do not remain oblivious to their social responsibilities. They participated in the humanitarian work to raise funds for flood victims in Bihar, Orissa, Helpage India or donating blood to Red Cross Society of India. Ever since its inception, the Institute has been organizing annual Blood Donation Camp.
The first Blood Donation Camp was held on 16th Oct. 2008 in which 161 units were collected and were donated to the Red Cross Society of New Delhi. The Second Camp was held on 11th Feb. 2010 in which 195 units were collected. The next year on 11th Feb 2011, 198 units were collected. Again on 22nd Feb 2013, 276 units were donated by students and staff members. The fifth annual Blood Donation Camp was organized on 21st Feb 2014 in which our students set a record of 353 units. The Institute organized its Sixth Blood Donation Camp on 11th April 2015 in association with Lions Club Faridabad’s ‘Maitree’, where 314 units of blood were collected.
The Institute held its last Blood Donation Camp on its Foundation Day on 26th April 2016 which was inaugurated by the esteemed MLA of Faridabad, Shri Vipul Goyal. Despite the scorching heat, that day 134 units were donated to district Red Cross Blood Bank. The students and all faculty and staff members displayed true humanitarian spirit, a hallmark of every Echelon member by participating in the Blood Donation Camp enthusiastically.
